Giving great relief to the candidates, the Uttar Pradesh government has taken an important decision. Changing the PCS examination of the Public Service Commission, 200 points interview has been reduced to 100 points.

Government spokesman and Cabinet Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh and Shrikant Sharma said that several important decisions were taken at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 24th April. Including the first written and interviewed examination in PACS examination, were 1700 points. Now it will be 1600 digits. The marks of the written examination will be 1500.

On the basis of the Central Government Examination 2013, the curriculum will also be changed. Apart from this, medical science has been included as an optional paper in this examination.

Changes in UP PCS exam

- General studies used to have two paper 200-200 points. Now there will be 4 papers of 200-200 numbers. That is, the general study will be of 800 numbers

- Hindi and essay paper will be of 150-150 as before.

Examinations of Tenth students are over, students are worried about stream and admission. We talked to some of the city's coaching institutes. These institutes are claiming to increase the percentage of students to 20% in XII. For this, their spell is to be prepared for children by preparing them for hours in the institutes.

We visited 8 such coaching institutes from different parts of Delhi and talked to these institutions as parents. These institutions did not say that they do this with any kind of scandal or nexus but they say that if they are to get good numbers, then the child will have to study according to them.

DU admissions:

These institutes claim not only to get more number but also to become admission guides in DU. The number of students who do not get admired, ranges from 70 to 75%. They do the DU specific team guides of the institute and claim to have given the child some admission in some colleges. Percentage of these colleges is less than the DU's prestigious colleges.

Less Marks No Worries:

If the tenth child is not getting the science stream in the school on the basis of pre-board numbers, then the institute is claiming to have received a science stream in the school of his choice. These institutions argue that because of the low number of students and vacancies due to vacancies, the science gets less in the school.

High Fees

Most institutions insist on taking admission in a two year course to meet lucrative claims. It also takes full fees in 6 to 8 months. Their fees remain close to Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh. Some institutions fees are non-refundable.

There are many such institutions in Uttam Nagar, Dwarka, Najafgarh, Mahipalpur, Delhi Cantt, Palam etc. who are making such claims. However, the big institutions are far from such claims. In Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab it is named as Maghi. Before the arrival of this festival, people start preparing sweets and lip-smacking dishes to celebrate a good harvest period. Women offer the Shreemangalchandika prapatti and even offer it after the sunset on the day of Sankranti. This auspicious day holds a significance, Mata Mahishasurmardini, with the purpose of destroying Mahishasur, first set foot on earth, in the Kataraaj ashram of Rishi Kardam and Devahuti.

As the festival is celebrated in winters, people start preparing food which can give them give them energy and also keep their body warm. Tilguls – Laddu of Til (Sesame) is made up of Jaggery and devotees also pay respect to Goddess Saraswati. People greet each other Happy Sankranti by saying Tilgul Ghya Aani God God Bola. On this day there are several Melas or fairs which are been held and one of the most famous amongst all melas is Kumbh Mela. It is been held every 12 years at one of four holy locations namely Haridwar, Prayag, Ujjain and Nashik. The Magh Mela which is the mini mela is held annually at Prayag, the Gangasagar Mela held at the Ganges River, Tusu Mela in parts of Jharkhand and West Bengal and many more such fairs are been held on this auspicious day.

Makar Sankranti is all about forgetting bitter and sad moments which happened in the past and welcoming the new phase of life which is full of purity, knowledge and wisdom.
